150 Boston Bruins, TD Garden Employees Getting Laid Off, Pay Cuts

The ownership group that runs the Boston Bruins and TD Garden announced Wednesday it will lay off dozens of full-time team and building employees and reduce salaries for dozens more "due to the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our operations."
Layoffs for 68 employees and indefinite pay cuts for 82 employees will take effect April 1.

"As relayed to our associates today, none of these decisions were reached without difficult and painful deliberations," Delaware North said in a statement. "These measures are intended to be temporary with associate employment and compensation returning once our business resumes to its normal state from this unprecedented stoppage."
The TD Garden has not been hosting Bruins, Celtics or any other events for two weeks. It's unknown when pro sports leagues will restart.
