19-Year-Old Shot in Head, Killed in Roxbury: Police

An investigation is underway.

Boston Police are investigating after a young man as killed early Monday evening on Dearborn Street in Roxbury.

Police say the call came in about 7:30 p.m. for a 19-year-old man who appeared to have been shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital, where police say he was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit continues to actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Boston Police Homicide Detectives directly at (617) 343-4470.
