2 MA Restaurants Donating Sales To Support LA Fire Victims
Fish and chips sales from Saltie Girl Boston and Stephanie's on Newbury will be donated to two Altadena organizations this week.

BOSTON, MA — Two Boston-area restaurants will be cooking for a cause this week, with proceeds going to help those recovering from the effects of the fires in Los Angeles.
Sidell Hospitality, the group behind Saltie Girl Boston, Stephanie’s on Newbury and Saltie Girl LA, said they are "committed to supporting the Altadena community and helping those impacted by the recent LA fires."
In Los Angeles, Saltie Girl LA has an outstanding offer to members of the Los Angeles and Los Angeles County Fire Departments to have a free clam chowder and crispy fish sandwich.

Now through Sunday, the three restaurants will be donating all of the proceeds from fish and chips orders to support the Altadena Girls Fund and the Altadena Boys Fund. Fish and chips will be $28 at both Boston area locations.
Altadena is a community in Los Angeles County that was ravaged by the Eaton Fire. As of Sunday, the Eaton Fire was 81 percent contained with that number growing closer to 100 percent.

Officials have completed inspections of 95% of the structures in the fire area, and so far 9,300 have been confirmed destroyed, with more than 10,000 more threatened.
Evacuation orders were lifted for several areas of Altadena this weekend.
