BOSTON, MA — At least six people were hurt when a box truck crashed onto a Boston sidewalk on Tuesday, according to authorities.
Officers responded to an area near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Kneeland Street shortly before 12:50 p.m. after receiving a call about a motor vehicle accident with pedestrians struck, a Boston Police Department spokesperson told Patch.
Authorities said the truck struck multiple poles before it overturned and became wedged between a pole and a building. Firefighters had to extricate the driver, who was trapped in the truck's cab.
