Beer Brewed With Doughnuts? You Can Thank Harpoon, Dunkin'
The two companies are adding three brews to their joint line of beers, including beers made from jelly and Boston cream doughnuts.
BOSTON — Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin' are partnering on three new beers, including two made from actual doughnuts.
The two companies have released beers together in the past, including the coffee-flavored Dunkin' Coffee Porter. The three new beers, which will hit shelves next month, include Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale, Harpoon Boston Kreme Stout, and Harpoon Jelly Donut IPA.
"After the extremely positive reaction the Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter received from fans for two consecutive seasons, the brewers at Harpoon took it a step further to see what would happen if they brewed a beer made with Dunkin’s famous donuts," Dunkin' said in a news release.

According to the company, Harpoon Dunkin’ Jelly Donut is "a slightly hazy IPA has bright notes of jelly and citrus." Harpoon Dunkin’ Boston Kreme has "extra dough-like and chocolatey notes" thanks to the doughnuts and cacao nibs used in the brewing process.
