The City of Boston is offering a collection to remove your Christmas tree so you can move on to something new to stress about in 2022.

BOSTON — Not sure how to remove the real Christmas tree you just HAD to have to help bring in the cheer this year?

The City of Boston will be collecting Christmas trees for composting during the first two weeks of January on your street's first recycling day.

The trees should be placed on the curb by 7 a.m. without ornaments or lights.
