Boston Calling 2022: Schedule, How To Get There, What To Know
Boston's own music festival features big names like Nine Inch Nails, The Strokes, and Metallica.

BOSTON — The city's largest music festival, Boston Calling, complete with music, dance, food and beer, is returning to Allston this weekend after a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nine Inch Nails, The Strokes, and Metallica are headlining - and there are still tickets. If you've never gone or are wondering where it came from, pull up a chair.
Boston Calling had its first festival on City Hall plaza in 2013 with about 18 acts. At this year’s festival, nearly 50 acts will take to the stage.
The festival was originally held at City Hall Plaza, but moved to Harvard’s Athletic Complex in 2017. This gave additional space for a third stage and experiment with things like podcasts, comedy, and ballet.
