Boston Man Accused in Fatal 2015 Shooting, Arson Arrested
The victim, Richard Long, was 37.

Boston, MA - Boston man Victor Arrington is in court Wednesday, facing a litany of charges connected to the 2015 death of 37-year-old Richard Long.
Boston Police reported Tuesday they had arrested Arrington, 30, around 7 p.m. He was arraigned in Dorchester District Court Wednesday on charges of Murder, Arson and Armed Assault with Intent to Murder.
Long, of Boston, was shot in the 300 block of Harvard Street in Dorchester on March 31, 2015. When police arrived, they found a fire set on the first floor of a home there and, after crews put out the fire, they found Long. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a press release, the Boston Police Department continues to actively investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
