Arrests Made In Harambee Park Firearm Incident
The two people were spotted brandishing firearms at Harambee Park last month.
BOSTON, MA — The police department announced that a second arrest has been made related to an incident that took place at Harambee Park in May.
On the evening of Sunday, May 18, officers noticed two people adjusting objects near their midsections at Harambee Park. Both people soon fled from the police and evaded arrest.
A 16-year-old juvenile male was arrested by the Youth Violence Strike Force in Dorchester Wednesday morning. He was wanted on charges of Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card at the time of his arrest.

This comes six days after the arrest of Durrell White, 18. The West Roxbury resident was found and arrested in the vicinity of 1235 VFW Parkway.
Both firearms were discovered to be a 9 millimeter glock pistol and a glock 45.
