Boston Police Identify Victim in Triple Shooting
The 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

BOSTON, MA — A young man shot to death this weekend was identified Wednesday by the Boston Police Department.
Phillip Woods, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene of Saturday's shooting near the intersection of Nightgale and Wales Streets, in Dorchester. He was one of three shot in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The other two victims, both also identified by Boston Police as men in their 20s, were taken to the hospital with what the BPD said were non-life-threatening injuries.

Woods' death remains under investigation.
The Boston Globe quoted a close friend who said around 200 held a vigil for Woods, known to friends as "Skeebo," Saturday night on Lorne Street. A childhood friend told the paper Woods worked at Panera Bread, was part of a neighborhood program for at-risk young adults, and "just wanted to be a better person."
