Boston Police Need Help Locating Missing 78-Year-Old Man

Police say the man was last seen on Granite Avenue in Dorchester.

DORCHESTER — The Boston Police Department is asking for help from the public in an effort to locate Andrea Filipi.

Police say the 78-year-old was last seen at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 116 Granite Avenue, Dorchester.

Filipi was last seen wearing an orange and gray North Face fleece, an aqua blue Polo shirt, navy blue pants, and gray sneakers.

Police say Filipi speaks Albanian, is hard of hearing, and experiences cognitive difficulties. They say he is known to push a shopping cart around collecting cans.
