Boston Police Officer Hospitalized After Struck By Vehicle: Cops
The officer was working a detail when he was hit by the vehicle, police said.
BOSTON, MA — A Boston police officer was hospitalized after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning, police said.
The officer was working a detail in Mattapan when he was hit by the vehicle shortly before 11:30 a.m., Boston police Officer Michael Torigian said in an email.
"The officer was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries," Torigian said. "Preliminary information is that the vehicle remained on scene."
