Boston Police Officer Injured in Weekend Car Crash

Non-life-threatening injuries reported.

BOSTON, MA — A Boston police officer and a civilian were hospitalized this weekend after the officer's police cruiser crashed into a South End building Sunday, according to multiple reports.

According to FOX 25, the police officer was driving down Harrison Avenue when the car traveling down Northampton Street crashed into his cruiser.

Both had non-life-threatening injuries, FOX 25 reports, and the other driver received a citation for failing to yield the right of way in an intersection.
