Boston Power Outages: Spotty Problems Reported as Nor'Easter Blows In

BOSTON, MA — As rain starts to fall and winds kick up in Boston, dozens of Eversource customers are reporting power outages.

As of about 7 p.m., the total number is 648, down from 1,267 earlier in the afternoon, according to Eversource.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of the state, anticipating dangerous winds of up to 55-60 miles per hour that could result it power outages and downed tree limbs into the evening.
