Boston Mayor Michelle Wu says all classes for Boston Public Schools will be canceled on Tuesday, citing upcoming cold temperatures.
BOSTON — On Monday, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said Boston Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday referencing frigid temperatures.
Wu explained the decision during a press conference Monday, while Boston Public Schools took to Twitter referencing "extreme cold weather," encouraging everyone to "Stay safe and warm."
Tuesday morning wind chills are going to be minus-8 degrees in Boston and as low as minus-20 in the western part of the state.
