Brown has remained in federal custody since his arrest in February 2020, Rollin's Office said.
After being indicted in Feb. 2020, Brown was charged in a superseding indictment with obstruction of justice and witness tampering for his attempt to influence a victim's testimony against him in June of that year.

According to Rollins, Brown targeted particularly vulnerable and transient victims, manipulating them through psychological techniques to maintain control.
After being charged, Rollins said Brown attempted to tamper with his victims' testimonies. Rollins said he directed co-conspirators to call victims and try to get them to alter or withdraw their testimony against him, calling this scheme his "Plan B."
