Boston's Mike DiSanto Will Row in Rio

Belmont High School grad makes the 2016 U.S. Olympic team.

Boston, MA - Four weeks from now, Harvard University graduate Mike DiSanto will go from the Charles River to Rio, after qualifying for the 2016 men's Olympic Rowing Team.

DiSanto, of Boston, is one of eight who qualified at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in late May (below). He went on to win a bronze medal at the 2016 World Rowing Cup II.

According to the U.S. Olympic team's rowing site, DiSanto graduated from Harvard University in 2012 with a degree in Psychology. He got his start rowing at Belmont High School in 2006.

DiSanto will take the sixth of eight seats on the United States' men's team.
