BOSTON, MA — The season of holiday cheer is almost here, and organizers of the annual Seaport takeover, Snowport, are readying for the occasion.

The Snowport Holiday Market will return on Nov. 7 for its fifth season. The annual Light Up Seaport tree lighting is scheduled for Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.

This year, the Holiday Market features over 125 independently-owned businesses and an expansive dining area with 20 local food and beverage concepts. Visitors can expect returning favorites, fresh new faces and a few surprises along the way, officials said.

“Snowport is an excellent opportunity to support our small businesses during the winter season, while bringing together residents and tourists alike for holiday festivities,” said Mayor Michelle Wu. “Through continuous collaboration with our partners, the City is able to support these community-driven events year round. I’m grateful for these partnerships that enable the Seaport to transform into a vibrant holiday destination, and I’m excited to participate in the festivities this winter.”

The market will showcase a collection of small businesses featuring everything from apparel and accessories to home decor, gourmet gifts, unique art and toys and games.

In 2025, 18 percent of vendors are new to the market, 65 percent represent New England’s thriving small business community and 88 percent identify as BIPOC- and/or women-owned.

"These numbers underscore the market’s mission to create meaningful opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs and to provide a lasting platform for local creativity, connection, and commerce," officials said.

Also returning for this year’s market is the Snowport Scholarship Program, a joint initiative between Constant Contact and Boston Seaport by WS "designed to elevate underserved entrepreneurs."

Twelve small businesses will receive financial support, marketing education and more thanks to the program.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be back at the Snowport Holiday Market this year. It’s more than just a market; it’s a celebration of the incredible energy, creativity and resilience of small businesses, which is exactly what we’re all about at Constant Contact,” said Frank J. Vella, CEO of Constant Contact. “There’s nothing better than seeing 120 entrepreneurs—especially those through our Scholarship Program—get this kind of exposure. It’s truly rewarding to give them the tools and visibility they need to thrive this holiday season and set them up for success, for years to come.”

Food and Dining

The Holiday Market’s dining experience returns with 20 food and beverage concepts. Spanning 10,000 square feet, the outdoor space features an après ski–inspired setting complete with holiday-red Adirondack chairs and faux fire pits.

The Warming Tent by JetBlue offers additional beer garden–style seating that may also be booked for private or semi-private events.

Guests can sip their way through the season as Tuscan Kitchen returns to operate Snowport’s bar program, featuring a mix of winter warmers, holiday cocktails and creative non-alcoholic drinks.

Adding to the holiday magic, four themed bars bring the season to life: The Jingle Bar, sparkling with hundreds of jingling bells; The Dizzy Dreidel, decked in bright blues and playful dreidels; Betty’s Bar, a nod to Snowport’s beloved mascot; and The Blizzard Bar, where snow flurries fall no matter the forecast.

Each themed bar features an exclusive signature cocktail: Betty’s Bar pours the Merry Betty Spritz (Hornitos, cranberry, San Pellegrino Blood Orange, rosemary sprig); The Blizzard Bar serves the Snowfall Sangria (Sauvignon Blanc, white grape juice, cranberry, orange, clove, cinnamon); The Dizzy Dreidel shakes up It’s A-MAZEL-ing (Absolut Vanilla Vodka, hibiscus tea, Red Bull, lemon); and The Jingle Bar delights with Sleigh’d (spiced rum, sage, whipped cream, edible gold glitter).

The food lineup balances hearty winter comforts with crowd-pleasing street food and decadent sweets from returning favorites to delicious debuts. This year’s locally owned vendors include:
