BU Police Seek Help Finding Racist, Neo-Nazi Sign-Poster

Boston University police are seeking the person behind posters that state "Black lives don't matter" and depict Neo-Nazi imagery.

Boston, MA - Boston University Police are asking the public to help identify the poster behind racist and Neo-Nazi signage that appeared on campus over the weekend.

The signs, first spotted around campus Saturday evening, read: "Black lives don't matter" and "Join your local Nazis."

University President Robert Brown condemned the posters in an email to the student body, writing, "I am heartsick that our community has to experience the hatefulness displayed by the individual or individuals who posted this material."

The police department has been investigating the signs since Saturday, and released this video Thursday in hopes the public could help identify the hoodie-wearing sign poster:

The video was taken by surveillance cameras at the Yawkey Center for Student Services, where the posters were first seen. University police later found similar posters near the CVS pharmacy, 730 Commonwealth Ave., and near BU’s Engineering Product Innovation Center just down the street.
