BOSTON — A Lynnfield man drove off the Zakim Bridge and landed 25 feet below on an on-ramp Friday, Massachusetts State Police confirmed.
The 19-year-old driver was alert and conscious when police arrived, but was taken to a hospital with potentially serious injuries.
The vehicle was traveling southbound on Interstate 93, drove off the Beacon Hill Bridge and landed on the Leverett Connector Ramp below.

As of Saturday, police had no information on the cause of the crash and no updates on the driver's condition.
