Christmas Nor'easter Won't Bring Snow — Quite The Opposite
The storm will be wet, warm and windy, brushing away most of the snow that has accumulated over the last several days.

An incoming nor'easter will make for a wet Christmas, but not a White Christmas — in fact, quite the opposite.
A wet, warm and windy weather system is expected to brush away much of the remaining snow that accumulated over the last several days.
"This year is not the year for a White Christmas," NBC10 meteorologist Aaron Perry told Patch.

The unusually warm weather starts Thursday, when temperatures could get into the 50s. The day is expected to be mostly dry and cloudy, with rain possible at night.
Christmas morning could be in the mid-50s, with heavy rains moving in from the Atlantic. The warm weather is a present coming from near Bermuda, Perry said.

Through it all, heavy winds will be gusting at speeds of over 60 miles per hour. Power outages are possible into Christmas.
Christmas morning's high temperature will quickly give way to a cold front, which might bring some very light snow, Perry said.
The storm will have some benefits, namely washing away at least most of the snow that last week's storm brought. The storm dumped nearly 2 feet of snow in some parts of Massachusetts, more than all of last winter.
The National Weather Service is calling a hazardous weather outlook for the entire state ahead of this week's storm, forecasting rough sledding for Santa.
"Strong to damaging winds and minor flooding are possible Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning," the weather service said.
