Curley Beach Opens For The Summer Saturday

The Boston Centers for Youth & Families-operated Curley Beach opens Saturday in South Boston.

The BCYF's “Family Friendly Beach” opens Saturday morning at the Curley Community Center in South Boston. It will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.  

Also opening Saturday are Charlestown's Clougherty Pool and the Mirabella Pool in the North End, both of which are also run by BCYF. Both are open seven days a week, 11 a.m. until dusk, from June 18 through Labor Day.

All locations will have experienced, certified lifeguards on duty, BCYF said.
