David Ortiz to Play Himself in Patriots Day, Reenact 'Our F---ing City' Speech

Boston, MA - Big Papi will soon be on the big screen, according to a report an upcoming role in Mark Wahlberg's Boston Marathon bombing movie.

According to Hollywood Reporter, David Ortiz will recreate his "This is our f----ing city" declaration on a sound stage for the Patriots Day movie.

The forthcoming movie has filmed at the former home of slain MIT Officer Sean Collier in Somerville and at the finish line of the marathon on Monday, but will not be on-site at Fenway Park. Patriots Day has cast big names for many other prominent roles in the film, but Ortiz will play himself.
