BOSTON, MA — A disabled aircraft forced the closure of a Boston Logan Airport runway Monday afternoon.

The runway was shut down shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Samantha Decker, an assistant director of media relations with the Massachusetts Port Authority, said the runway reopened prior to 5:45 p.m.
