Donald Trump To Host Pricey Campaign Fundraiser in Boston

$10,000 photo ops await, as the Trump Train rolls to Beantown Monday.

Boston, MA - Donald Trump is coming to town Monday, bringing his campaign fundraising efforts to Boston as he prepares for a seemingly inevitable presidential bid this November.

Here's the email invitation shared in The Boston Herald Tuesday, reportedly sent by Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus and Trump's campaign finance co-chairs:

"Washington, DC is in total gridlock - getting legislation passed on a timely basis is nearly impossible. Donald Trump is the change agent that the American people need fighting for them in DC. He knows how the economy works and how to create jobs - Donald is the person to get our economic engine going again. As we head into the summer Donald is building a war chest to defend himself against Hillary Clinton’s attacks, and he needs our help. This will be a great opportunity to meet with Donald and discuss the race.”

As reported in the paper, tickets for The Langham hotel lunch event start at $2,700 per person. A photo opportunity with Trump, plus a spot on the host committee, requires raising or giving $25,000 by couples. For an individual photo with the candidate in addition to lunch, tickets are $10,000.

At those prices, here's hoping it's a photo with the real Trump, not a life-size cutout à la Trump University.
