Dorset Cheese From MA Whole Foods Recalled For Possible Listeria
The Dorset cheese produced by a Vermont farm has a sell by date of Oct. 30.

A type of cheese sold at Whole Foods stores in Massachusetts and throughout the Northeast and North Atlantic is being recalled due to a potential listeria contamination.
In a press release, Whole Foods said the affected product — Dorset cheese — was sold at stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. The farm that makes the cheese, Consider Bardwell Farm in Vermont, said there were three types of cheese products being recalled, including the Dorset cheese sold at Whole Foods.
Separately, the farm said the cheese in question was also distributed to California, Texas and Vermont, but no recalls have been announced in those states.
