East Boston Shooting Leaves Man With Life-Threatening Injuries
Boston Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting in the area near Saratoga Street over the weekend.
EAST BOSTON — A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a shooting in East Boston Sunday night.
Police received a call at 8:18 p.m. for a report of a shooting that took place in the area of 808 Saratoga Street. Once officers got to the scene, they found a man who had been shot and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
The man's injuries are considered to be critically life-threatening, police said.

Investigators from the Homicide Unit, the Crime Scene Response Unit, and District Detectives all responded to the scene.
Blood was reported to be seen on the sidewalk while evidence markers and crime tape were placed at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
