Firefighters Rescue Trapped Worker at South Boston Construction Site: Boston Fire
Non-life threatening injuries reported.

Boston, MA - The Boston Fire Department responded to a South Boston construction site Thursday to rescue a trapped worker there.
According to Boston Fire's Twitter, firefighters arrived on scene at 715 East 2nd St., where a worker was pinned under what was described as a "concrete mixing silo type structure." The structure had tipped over as its footing gave way, Boston Fire said. Seaport Realty Group lists the address as apartments for rent.
Workers there began extracting the trapped man using a backhoe, and firefighters completed the process, BFD said.
