This Sunday, the Friends of the Public Garden is hosting free "Skating with Friends" sessions all day at the Boston Common Frog Pond.

Looking for things to do with the kids during the February school break? Why not warm up on a cold February day? For the first time in two years, the Friends of the Public Garden is hosting "Skating with Friends!" on the Boston Common's Frog Pond. The event will feature free skate rentals (while supplies last) and free cookies, and there will be free hot chocolate thanks to our partner the Skating Club of Boston. Skating assistants will be on hand, and Frog Pond Freddie will make an appearance!

The FREE skating sessions begin at 10 am, 12 pm, 2pm 4 pm, and 6 pm. Space is limited to 125 skaters per 90-minute session. Free tickets are available beginning 30 minutes before each session.
Stop by and experience the magic of ice skating surrounded by the sights and sounds of the City, and help the Friends support their mission to renew, care, and advocate for Boston’s historic parks!
