Green Line Service Shutdown For Maintenance
A branch of the MBTA's Green Line is in the midst of a nine-day closure.

BOSTON, MA — The MBTA announced that part of its Green Line service will be temporarily suspended to allow for travel work.
Train service between the Medford/Tufts and Park Street stations on the train’s C branch eastbound route is shut down through Thursday, Nov. 14. Shuttle bus service will be available as an alternative between the Medford/Tufts and Science Park/West End stops. Between North Station and Park Street, the MBTA is asking riders to take the Orange Line as it shares a similar route and has a relatively easy transition point from where the shuttle ends.
According to the Authority, the entirety of the shuttle bus route takes approximately 45 minutes longer than the normal train service.
