JFK Library Reopens After One Day Closure: Report

The library cited an executive order by President Donald Trump as the cause of its shutdown.

BOSTON, MA — The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library has reopened after a one-day closure caused by a presidential executive order, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.

The library attributed its Tuesday closure to President Donald Trump’s executive order that fired hundreds of federal employees throughout the country. A meeting just before the establishment closed reportedly resulted in nine staff members losing their jobs.

Gov. Maura Healy and other state officials have criticized Trump and Elon Musk’s decisions.
