Kindergartner Killed In Boston School Bus Crash: Report

The child was a student at a school in Dorchester.

BOSTON, MA — A kindergartner has died after being hit by a school bus on Monday, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.

Five-year-old Lens Arthur Joseph was taken to the hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries from the collision and died shortly after. The child was hit at 2:44 p.m. in the neighborhood of Hyde Park. According to a family member, Joseph was on the bus shortly before being hit by it. He was a student of Up Academy school in Dorchester.

Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
