LeBron James To Boston? Report Says He'll Talk To Celtics
Could you imagine the Celtics foe in a green uniform?

BOSTON, MA — The NBA season isn't even over yet and there's already rampant rumors and speculation on where Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James will end up next season. Could Boston be that place?
ESPN commentator and hot take artist Stephan A. Smith said on "First Take" Wednesday that James will have a conversation with Boston, along with Cleveland, Philadelphia, Houston, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Golden State.
James' contract has an opt-out clause, allowing him to leave the Cavaliers after this season. If he comes to Boston - and that's a big if - it would require some creative salary cap management from general manager Danny Ainge. The Celtics are pushing towards the cap limit and James' contract may force the team to move one of their large contracts. Kyrie Irving reportedly left Cleveland to get away from playing with James.

Also, James will need a new number if he becomes a Celtic. Both his 23 and 6 hang in the rafters of TD Garden and were worn by Celtics Frank Ramsey and Bill Russell.
