Logan Airport Ground Stop Lifted After Plane Skids Off Runway

An incoming flight from Chicago encountered an issue shortly after landing at Logan International Airport.

BOSTON, MA — A ground stop has been lifted at Logan Airport after a JetBlue plane went off the runway Thursday afternoon.

Flight B6312 from Chicago rolled off onto the grass shortly after it landed. According to the Massachusetts Port Authority, no injuries have been reported as passengers were escorted off the plane. The cause of the diversion from the runway has yet to be determined. JetBlue said in a statement that it will conduct a thorough investigation to identify the cuase of the incident.

The stop was originally expected to end at 1 p.m., but lasted until shortly after 2 p.m.
