MA Coronavirus: Baker Tells All Arriving Travelers To Quarantine
Gov. Charlie Baker said all people coming in from out of state should self-quarantine for 14 days to stop the spread of coronavirus.

MASSACHUSETTS — Gov. Charlie Baker said all people coming into Massachusetts from out of state should self-quarantine for 14 days. The advisory, which is not enforceable by law, takes effect immediately.
"Do not travel to our communities, especially if you have symptoms," Baker said Friday morning.
The move impacts people coming into Logan and Worcester airports, taking the train into areas like South Station, and those who drive in. There will be fliers in popular transit spots and billboards letting people know.

Some travelers, like those who work in health care, public safety and transportation, will be exempt.
Baker also said it appears the economy "won't be up and running by Easter," a direct rebuke of President Donald Trump's desire to have the country reopened by April 12.
