MA Coronavirus Cases Surpass 70,000; 122 Deaths Reported

The state reported another 122 deaths and 1,184 confirmed coronavirus cases in its daily update Tuesday. There were 9,081 tests performed.

The number of confirmed cases are now at 72,271, while the deaths are at 4,212.

The cases and deaths both increased from Monday's report, but remained below the seven-day average.

The number of tests performed fell to their lowest number in over a week. The positive rate increased to 13 percent after back-to-back days of decline.
