MA Weather: Winter Storm Could Dump Foot Of Snow Across Region
A winter storm watch has been issued for most of Massachusetts in advance of potentially a foot of snow.

The first winter snowstorm of the season looks like it will pack a punch. Up to a foot of snow is possible for much of Massachusetts to start next week, forecasters revealed in an updated forecast Friday evening.
A winter storm watch has been called for all but Southeastern Mass. and the Cape and Islands, which are bracing for more of a wintry mix.
The forecast Friday morning called for as much as 6 inches of snow west of I-495 and a rain/snow combination in Eastern Mass. A wintry mix is still expected to blend into many areas that will see snow.
