MASSACHUSETTS — It may be sunny where you are now, but the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of the state as well as CT, ME, NH, RI until 8 p.m.
The National Weather Service forecast for eastern Massachusetts said there's a chance of showers before 3 p.m. and after 5 p.m. but there's a high likelihood of showers and thunderstorms between 3 p.m. through 5 p.m., with winds gusting up to 25 mph and a high temperature near 87.
Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain.

The weather service put the chance of precipitation is 60 percent. And the chance of rain continues through the evening and into the night.
Sunday forecasters said to watch for a chance of showers, mainly after noon, during the much cooler day, with a high near 69.
