MA Weather: Massive Warmup This Weekend, 1 Day Could Be Perfect

Temperatures in the upper 50s and 60s? Yes, but rain on one day will drench your hopes for a pristine outdoor weekend.

Winter isn't over, it's just taking a break. Forecasters are sharing the good news of fast-rising temperatures over the weekend, resulting in temperatures over 60 degrees in what will seem like a spring-like stretch.

Friday's highs will be in the upper 40s, Saturday's highs in the upper 50s and Sunday's highs in the low-mid 60s, including a groovy 64 degrees in Foxborough, according to estimates from the National Weather Service (see below.)

The downside is, it's not going to be the sunniest weekend. Saturday will deal with clouds popping in and out, though likely no rain, making it a beautiful day to get outside. Sunday morning will be very wet, though at least not too chilly.

The high temperatures come not long after Thursday's biting cold in which temperatures hovered in the low 20s.
