MA Weather: Nor'easter Brewing For This Weekend
Super Bowl weekend could see the return of some snow and a hefty amount of rain.
The next chance for widespread precipitation in Massachusetts is Super Bowl weekend, but even that is up in the air as a mild beginning to 2020 carries on. The National Weather Service is saying there could be a wintry mix, including snow, but it's too soon to tell.
"There is the potential for a storm sometime next weekend with rain and/or snow, but whether we are even impacted remains uncertain," the NWS said Tuesday morning.
The precipitation is expected mostly Saturday. Temperatures are expected to hit 40, so it will be primarily rain throughout the day with some snow possible in the early and late in the day.

AccuWeather said there are three tracks to the storm, one that hammers New England, one that just impacts coastal towns and one that misses the region entirely.
There are likely to be snow showers Tuesday night into Wednesday in outer Cape Cod and possibly Nantucket, the NWS said. The snow would be around 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
