MA Weather: Snow, Bitter Cold Air In Forecast After Record Temps
Winter reminded us it is't going away anytime soon with snow Monday morning, and more to come this weekend.

As if you didn't need more proof that, no, it's not really spring yet, a potential weekend storm could be followed by some of the coldest air of the season.
Light snow was falling across in parts of Massachusetts Monday morning, less than 24 hours after record temperatures in the 70s washed across the region and provided a ray of hope in the winter doldrums. The flip-flop start to the week will give way to warmer-than-average temperatures this week until Friday, when it dips into the 20s.
A wintry mix is then expected for Saturday and some of Sunday. The amount of snow will depend on temperatures — currently lows are around 30 degree Saturday, but that could vary as the weekend draws closers.

The beginning of next week will see bitter cold, with lows dropping into the teens through at least Wednesday.
Those temperatures are more in line with mid-January than this weekend's burst of 70-plus degrees. Saturday and Sunday both crushed previous highs — Boston's 74 degrees was 13 degrees higher than the previous high for Jan. 12.
