The overnight snow could end up being as much as 4 inches in some parts of the state as "uncertainty about the storm track" has the forecast in flux. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Southeastern Mass. and the Cape and Islands in advance of the system's approach.

Snow showers are expected to begin after 10 p.m. and end before the morning commute. The end result is expected to be between 1-4 inches depending on where you are.
