MA Weather: Snow, Ice Return To Forecast In Messy Week
The first half of February is full of precipitation, but higher-than-normal temperatures could make for more slush than snow.

Monday's the day to get outside this week, as clouds, rain and snow speckle the forecast the rest of the way. Forecasters are looking at end-of-the-week precipitation, with a wintry mix possible as temperatures head toward freezing.
Rain is expected throughout the day Thursday and Friday, and although temperatures will hover in the 40s — and even 50 — much of the time, forecasters are looking at the possibility of snow Thursday morning.
The first week of February will look much of January did: much warmer than normal. High temperatures will be in the 40s every day until Saturday.

Clouds will clear Monday, giving way to a lot of sun and 48 degrees in the Boston area, but clouds will be a factor the rest of the way. Some sort of rain/snow combination appears to dominate the much of the first of the half of the February forecast.

It appears we could see another month without much snowfall, however, as high temperatures through at least Feb. 17 are forecast to be in the 40s, save for this Saturday.
