The bitter cold of winter is making a resurgence this weekend, with wind chills plummeting below zero and temperatures remaining below freezing util Sunday.

The freeze has already started across Massachusetts, where afternoon highs are in the low-to-mid 20s. It's a stark difference from what has been a mild winter — including the warmest January on record.

The temperature Friday night is expected to drop well into the single digits. That, along with a steady wind, will make it feel something like negative four degrees overnight and into Saturday morning.
