BOSTON, MA — After an arctic start to the week in Massachusetts, springlike temperatures finally made a return Thursday. But don't head outdoors for a walk just yet, since rain is in the forecast for the next two days.

After a gray, drizzly day Friday, periods of heavy and rain some isolated thunderstorms are expected to arrive after 4 p.m., mixed with some areas of fog overnight. Temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-60s.

Expect much of the same Friday: showers and drizzle during the day before skies start to clear by nightfall. The weekend will have mostly pleasant weather, with sunshine and highs in the low 50s Saturday and cloudy skies Sunday, before rain once again moves in Sunday night.
