MA Weather: Thunderstorms, Hail, Gusty Winds Inbound
Here's when a sunny Monday will take a turn for the worse.

MASSACHUSETTS — A sunny Monday will be interrupted by thunderstorms with heavy winds and even some hail, forecasters warned.
"Rain returns later this morning, then scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon," the National Weather Service said Monday morning. "The primary threats are hail, gusty winds, and lightning."
Precipitation appears to be spotty until the midafternoon, when storms roll in from the west. You can see when rain is expected to reach you in the simulated radar below.

There won't be a repeat of the weekend snowflakes. High temperatures will be in the low 60s, despite the threat of hail. Wind gusts will reach up to about 30 mph.
Temperatures will surpass 70 degrees at the end of the week, though more rain is expected with the warmer weather.

Tuesday night - Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 36. West wind 8 to 15 mph.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
Wednesday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 41. West wind around 7 mph.
Thursday - A chance of showers after 5 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. West wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
