Another Victim With Mass. Ties Identified in Orlando Shooting
More local ties became clear as officials continued identifying victims of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

A Springfield native and a former Northampton resident were identified as victims in Sunday morning's attack on an Orlando gay club that federal officials believe to be an act of domestic terrorism.
NECN was the first to report the Springfield native: 23-year-old Stanley Manolo Almodovar III. Later in the evening, former Northampton resident Kimberly Morris, 37, was identified.
Almodovar's Facebook page identifies him as a current resident of Clemont, Florida, but names Springfield, Massachusetts, as his hometown. His name was among the first released by the Orlando Police Department, about 14 hours after the mass shooting at the Pulse Orlando Night Club & Ultra Lounge left 50 dead and 53 injured.

Morris was a Connecticut native who briefly lived in Northampton, where she worked at the gay club Divas as a drag king and bouncer, NBC Connecticut reports.
In a social media post, Divas wrote, “We are deeply saddened to (lose) a member of our Diva's family. KJ Morris who performed as Daddy K. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. We will always remember her smile and her amazing way she lite up the stage in her performances . Keep dancing KJ ... And we'll keep smiling remembering you!!”
