100 Degrees and Thunderstorms: MA Weather Forecast
More storms expected as temperatures flirt with 100 degrees around the state.

Another hot day is on its way through Massachusetts, with heat indexes potentially topping 100 degrees and, once again, a chance for strong storms in the afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service issued a hazard weather outlook for all of Massachusetts, except for Berkshire County, Monday morning.
According to the NWS, Bay Staters should be on the lookout for heat advisories, as heat indexes possibly reach 100 degrees (it already has in Norwood) or climb even higher than 100 degrees. Temperatures in the 90s are expected to stick around most of this week.

As if that wasn't enough, there's also again the potential for severe thunderstorms Monday. Those are predicted this afternoon and evening. The main threat will be damaging straight-line wind gusts, according to NWS. Local, heavy rainfall could also possibly cause flooding in some parts of urban areas.
