The majority of the more than 2,100 who responded to an informal Patch survey do not have a high confidence in the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines and would not want them for their own children.

The survey generated 2,104 respondents, 1,139 of whom have not and do not intend to get the vaccine. And 1,169 of respondents were either highly or somewhere unconfident in the effectiveness of the coronavirus vaccines.

The survey is not meant to be a scientific poll, but rather a broad look at the public's mindset. It represents a break from the generally trusting feeling toward vaccinations in past Patch informal surveys.
