The Boston Police Department is seeking help identifying a woman accused of robbing the Downtown Crossing TD Bank at a knife-point.

Boston, MA - The Boston Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a woman connected to an armed bank robbery in Downtown Crossing.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the 24 Winter Street TD Bank.

A young woman showed a knife and demanded money before running away on foot with an undetermined amount of money, police said. She is also believed to have been part of another armed robbery on May 4, at 170 Newbury Street in Back Bay.

Police described the suspect as a white female, 25-30 years of age with a slim build and brown hair.

An active investigation is underway, police said.
